Determine Lot Size
Most likely your lot size is less than 10,890 square feet, which is 1/4 of an acre. The easiest
way to determine your lot size is simply to call us at 469-579-3500. However, if you want to
see what your lot size is, then please visit the link below that corresponds to the county that
your property is located, and follow the instructions provided.
Collin County - when the Collin County Appraisal District window pops up, please input your
street number and street name, then click “Find”. Click on the “Account Number” of your
address. This will bring up the information on your property that the tax district has. Scroll
down the page and click on “Plat Map”. This should activate a plat map. Locate your
property on the map, and determine the lot size from the dimensions given. Length x Width
equals the total lot size. For abnormal shaped lots, the calculation is more difficult.
Determining Your Lot Size
Denton County - when the Denton county Appraisal District window pops up, please input
your street number and street name, then click “Submit”. When your property is displayed,
click on “View Details” (right side box displayed). Scroll down to the “Land Segments” portion
of the information displayed. The size of your lot should be displayed.
If you have any difficulty, or want to make it easy on yourself, simply contact us, and we can
determine the size of your lot. If we cannot detemint the size of your lot by the above
methods, then we will measure the property via satellite imagery measuring software, or in
person.
